Do these three steps at the end of every day to keep your Chromebook running smoothly:
- Sign out of your Chromebook using the on-screen button in the lower right corner of the screen. Leave the lid open, and let the screen go dark.
- When the screen lights up again, power off using the on-screen button in the lower left of the screen. Close the lid.
- Plug in your Chromebook so that it charges overnight. Make sure the little light by the power cord input lights up and stays lit (it will be red, orange, or green). If the little light blinks off, remove the power cord from the Chromebook and gently reinsert it to ensure a complete connection. IMPORTANT: Please be careful with your power cord. Rough handling could bend the tip or jam the port.
