Chromebook Help Desk: WiFi Connectivity

The video below explains how to check your WiFi connection.

Always try powering your Chromebook off, then power it back on as a first step in checking you connectivity to the WiFi here at school.  If that doesn't get you connected, try the following steps:

  1. Click on the series of icons located in the bottom right corner of the screen

  2. Select the Gear icon from the menu that should pop up

  3. Make sure you have selected the “Network” page once you are in settings

  4. Once you have connected to your desired network, make sure that the toggles are set to ON.

  5. Your settings should save automatically so you are safe to close the window

This should help if the Chromebook continually requires a network password from a known network.
